Lighting Requirements: Medium-High to High (Full-Spectrum LED). While it can survive and remain a healthy light green under lower light, high-intensity full-spectrum lighting is mandatory to trigger and maintain its signature purple and violet pigmentation. Provide a stable photoperiod of 8 to 10 hours daily.
Temperature Parameters: Incredibly resilient and temperature-hardy, maintaining stable health across a very broad range of 18°C – 26°C (64°F – 79°F). It tolerates slightly cooler water exceptionally well.
